Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Optical Lab Manufacturing Equipment Service Technologist to install, commission, and service inline optical manufacturing equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime, troubleshoot using schematics and manuals, and contribute to safety and reliability through updated SOPs.

The role also involves mentoring teammates and adapting to evolving processes.

Qualifications

1–2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing; optical processing exposure is a plus.
Foundational mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Comfort with schematics; HVAC and/or welding experience preferred but not required.
Basic math; computer literacy.
Strong written and verbal communication; excellent organization; keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and service inline optical manufacturing equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot using diagrams, drawings, prints, specs, manuals and instructions.
Inspect and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and vacuum subsystems.
Create/update SOPs and work instructions to improve safety and reliability.
Train and mentor teammates and small groups.
