Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Baltimore to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment to support manufacturing schedules. You will perform general facility tasks, calibrate and align equipment, and support safety and process improvements across the team.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, the ability to work with electricians and contractors, and adherence to Lock-Out/Tag-Out safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least one year related experience.
• Experience in highly automated manufacturing and lean manufacturing environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues using electrical schematics and multimeters.
• Ability to collaborate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers remotely.
• Basic PC knowledge and math skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures including Lock-Out/Tag-Out.
• Physical ability to lift 50–100 lbs and stand/walk routinely.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on facility equipment as scheduled.
• Completes general facility maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical tasks.
• Disassembles, cleans, and repairs equipment mechanically and electrically.
• Performs minor electronic repair, calibration, and alignment; ensures proper setup.
• Enters and analyzes maintenance data; tracks activities in Megamations.
• Assists the maintenance team leader with training of staff.
• Supports process improvements and safety compliance.
