Job summary

ASML US, LP is seeking a First Line Support Production Engineer for the Wilton Factory in Wilton, CT. You will work with manufacturing to quickly resolve production disturbances and perform engineering steps to support output in a hands-on role.

The position requires a mechanical engineering degree (BS with 2+ years or MS) and hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, tooling, and testing, plus strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with 2+ years experience.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, alignment, tooling and test equipment.
• Experience with epoxy application in opto-mechanical designs.
• Experience with detectors, electro-optical devices, and opto-mechanical constructions.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, optical, and electrical technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability and interest in working approximately 75% of the time in a cleanroom/manufacturing environment.
• Strong ownership, communication, teamwork, and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid engineering support for issues arising during build, test and qualification.
• Perform root-cause analysis and develop troubleshooting guidelines and OCAPs.
• Contribute to PFMEA, manufacturing procedures, diagnostic qualification, and DOA analyses.
• Partner with multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams to implement fixes and improvements.
