Qualifications

• Training or certification in optical dispensing and/or fitting contact lenses.
• Excellent attention to detail when interpreting prescriptions and checking lenses.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain options clearly to customers.
• Familiarity with optical products.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Follow state and federal licensing and CE requirements.
• Strong sales ability and customer service focus.

• Role may require working at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Advising patients on frame styles, weights, and lens options.
• Measuring customers to determine suitable frames and lenses.
• Adjusting and repairing eyeglasses for proper fit.
• Preparing orders for glasses and contact lenses with correct prescriptions.
• Maintaining inventory and processing sales records compliant with HIPAA.
