Qualifications

• Option 1: Completion of 2 or more years of college.
• Option 2: 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
• Option 3: 2 years' general work experience, including 1 year's optical experience and high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Meets eligibility requirements to work in the Vision Center, including minimum age of 18, certification, registration, licensure, and other qualifications required by company policy and applicable regulations.
• Active licensure/registration.
• Active ABO.

Responsibilities

• Lead department sales growth through merchandising, pricing accuracy, inventory oversight, and seasonal execution.
• Forecast sales trends and align assortments with member needs, community demographics, and local patterns.
• Monitor competitive pricing and adjust strategies to hit financial targets.
• Lead optical team development through hiring, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate with labs, suppliers and optometrists regarding job status and actions.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain accurate documentation.
