Walmart Saint Augustine optical department seeks an experienced supervisor to lead merchandising, pricing, inventory, and seasonal execution. You will forecast sales trends and align product assortments with member needs and local demographics under appropriate supervision.

You will oversee precise eyewear measurements, fittings, and contact lens education, maintaining safety, privacy, and compliant documentation. The role includes OD support and maintaining high service standards.

Competenze

• Active licensure/registration.
• Active ABO certification.
• Experience supervising 5+ direct reports with responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
• Experience with insurance processing and electronic health records.
• Two years of general work experience including optical experience or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Lead optical department operations including merchandising, pricing accuracy, inventory oversight, and seasonal execution.
• Oversee eyewear measurements, fittings, adjustments, and contact lens education under optometric supervision.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation and patient confidentiality across all records and interactions.
• Support OD services with appointment scheduling, pre-testing procedures, and payment collection where permitted.
