Job summary

Walmart Vision Center in Nashville is seeking an eyewear professional to lead sales through merchandising, pricing, and inventory management. You will guide Associates in delivering excellent customer service and resolve issues per company policies.

You will oversee community outreach, ensure compliance with asset protection, and mentor staff while maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate records. Experience in optical retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2+ years of college or 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory or 2 years general work including 1 year optical.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in the Vision Center through effective merchandising, pricing, signing, in-stock and forecasting.
• Provide guidance to Associates on customer service and issue resolution within company guidelines.
• Oversee community outreach programs and ensure compliance with policies and asset protection controls.
• Supervise and develop Associates, hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties.
• Educate Members/Customers to select products based on needs and measurements, while maintaining confidentiality of records.
