Job summary

Walmart Sam’s Club in Clarksburg, WV seeks an Optical Associate, Non-Certified to join the optical team. You’ll assist members with eyewear decisions, measure pupillary distance, adjust frames, and process eyewear orders while supporting OD services under supervision.

Prior retail/healthcare exposure helps. ABO certification or state licensure may be required within established timelines. Full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or within 12 months of hire.
• Experience in health care or retail settings is preferred.
• Must obtain ABO certification or state licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with eyewear decisions, measure pupillary distance, and perform frame adjustments.
• Process eyewear and contact lens orders and manage payments and returns.
• Support OD services under supervision and maintain proper documentation.
