Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• Willingness to obtain ABO certification if not already certified.
• State licensure or apprenticeship requirements must be met within stated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Stock and present optical merchandise, set up displays, price items, and handle returns per policy.
• Measure pupillary distance and assist with frame/lens adjustments and repairs.
• Process eyewear and contact lens orders and manage payments and refunds in the POS system.
• Educate members on eyewear usage, care, and contact lens handling; support OD services as applicable.
• Schedule and confirm member appointments and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
