Job summary

Walmart’s Sam's Club Optical team in Katy, TX is seeking an Optical Associate to assist members with eyewear purchases, measurements, and repairs while maintaining the Optical area and inventory. You will handle prescriptions, prepare orders, and support labs and optometrists as needed.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, strong customer service, and willingness to obtain ABO certification within 15 months. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent at job entry or within 12 months.
• Willingness to obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• State-specific licensure requirements may apply for apprentice/optician roles.

Responsibilities

• Stock and present optical merchandise; handle claims and returns per policy.
• Assist members with eyewear selection, measurements, and repairs.
• Process eyewear and contact lens orders; ensure accuracy of prescriptions.
