Job summary

Qualifications

• Must obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• Must meet state licensure requirements and obtain licensure within 18 months; apprenticeship hours may apply.

Responsibilities

• Stock and maintain the Optical area and displays; handle claims and returns per policy.
• Assist members with eyewear purchases, measurements, and lens orders; perform basic repairs and frame adjustments.
• Process optical orders and payments; verify prescription information and pupillary distance.
• Coordinate with labs and optometrists on status and updates; troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
• Schedule and confirm member appointments and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
