Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day package sortation operations and manage a staff of package handlers and administrative personnel. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with FXG policies and regulations while driving performance and coaching team members.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills to motivate a diverse team and deliver safe, high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 6 months experience in package handling, supervisory or similar fast-paced environments.
• Experience in mentoring or developing staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage hiring, coaching, training, performance evaluation and staff productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Lead meetings to communicate updates and daily goals with staff.
• Develop and administer employee relations and safety strategies.
