Job summary

Topo Designs is seeking an Operations Manager to own logistics and fulfillment from the 3PL handoff to customer delivery. You will lead our 3PL partner, carrier programs and NetSuite workflows, and drive AI-enabled improvements with a lean team.

Based in Denver, CO, the role reports to the VP of Finance & Business Operations and collaborates with Product, Sales, Ecommerce, Retail and Accounting. You will manage the Operations Coordinator and deliver weekly KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in logistics, supply chain or operations management for a consumer brand.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience.
• Direct 3PL management: SLAs, peak planning and negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of parcel and LTL carrier programs and multi‑channel shipping cost drivers.
• Wholesale logistics experience: EDI notices and routing guides; reduce chargebacks.
• Hands‑on NetSuite experience in inventory, fulfillment and reporting.
• Demonstrated use of AI or automation to remove manual work.

Responsibilities

• Own the day‑to‑day relationship with our 3PL and hold them to SLAs for on‑time shipment, accuracy, receiving and cost per order.
• Plan capacity and staffing with the 3PL ahead of peak periods, launches and promotions.
• Escalation point for fulfillment issues, chargebacks and carrier disputes; drive root‑cause fixes.
• Own receiving, transfers between locations and stores, and returns receiving.
• Write and maintain SOPs for inventory flows across DTC, wholesale, Amazon, and retail channels.
• Own outbound transportation across parcel, LTL, and freight; negotiate carrier rates and programs.
• Coordinate inbound shipments from overseas factories; handoff to 3PL, ASN accuracy and receiving readiness.
• Manage retailer routing guides and compliance to prevent chargebacks.
• Support inventory accuracy, allocation and replenishment across channels.
• Manage NetSuite workflows for inventory, transfers and fulfillment.
• Keep data in sync across NetSuite, Shopify, ShipHero and 3PL; monitor integrations.
• Build saved searches, dashboards and reports used by operations and finance.
• Find manual, repetitive work and replace with Claude-based or AI‑assisted workflows.
• Use Claude daily for analysis, SOP writing and data cleanup.
• Partner with VP on automation roadmap; manage the Operations Coordinator.
• Set guardrails for AI use: human review on anything moving money, inventory or customer commitments.
