Job summary

LVI Associates seeks an Operations Manager for Industrial Automation & System Integration in Western Michigan. Lead a 45-50 person team of engineers, PMs and tech leaders, delivering complex automation and integration projects with a focus on customer satisfaction across Life Sciences, Food & Beverage and manufacturing clients.

The role offers a base salary of $175K-$200K with a 20% bonus potential, limited travel, and opportunities to grow leadership capabilities within a dynamic engineering

Qualifications

Leadership experience within system integration, industrial automation, MES, OT, or engineering services.
Experience leading customer-facing technical teams.
Strong project, resource, and financial management skills.
Background with PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, MES, OT, or industrial automation technologies.
Experience supporting project costing, estimates, proposals, or pricing activities.
Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Open to limited travel.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers, project managers, and technical leaders.
Oversee project delivery, execution, and customer satisfaction.
Drive resource planning, utilization, and workforce allocation.
Manage project financials, budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
Support project estimating, pricing, and proposal reviews.
Grow customer relationships and drive repeat business.
Develop and mentor team members and future leaders.
Partner with sales, engineering, and executive leadership teams.
