Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Sr Operational Excellence Manager to lead our OpEx program across the site, driving continuous improvement and Lean initiatives. You will coach teams, develop strategy, and ensure manufacturing excellence.

You will collaborate with Front Line Leaders to implement improvements, monitor quality metrics, and advance process performance. This role demands leadership, organization, and self-starting initiative in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Practical experience leading kaizen events and coaching teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and logistics flows.
• Experience creating and implementing quality systems (PFMEA, control plans, standardized work, layered audits).
• Lean tools understanding: 6S, Kanban, Ishikawa, A3, 5-Why, MTTR/MTBF, Poka-yoke, JIT, value-stream mapping.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage OpEx system to drive site performance and zero-harm goals.
• Develop site OpEx strategy, initiatives, and training materials.
• Identify process improvements with Front Line Leaders and execute OpEx projects.
• Oversee quality initiatives and metrics to keep leading industry standards.
