Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team and optimize production processes. You will plan and assign work, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and collaborate with the Production Manager to improve methods and workflows.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with ERP and assembly management software. You will coach staff, monitor KPIs, and support timely shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production leadership/Shop Leader experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in a manufacturing setting with a track record of improving throughput
• Proficient with ERP software, assembly management software, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong work ethic
• Ability to design and follow production processes and deliverables; interpret and relay KPIs

Responsibilities

• Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to drive improvement.
• Provide leadership, supervision, motivation, and performance feedback to teams.
• Ensure compliance with Safety and Quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, organized TPS environment with lean practices.
• Record daily KPIs and summarize shift-end reports.
• Coach and develop employees; resolve issues through problem solving.
• Communicate with upstream departments to ensure on-time shipments.
• Manage production support systems; track scrap and inventory data; request maintenance as needed.
