Job summary

Reactive Markets Limited is seeking an Operations Engineer to support a high‑performance trading platform. You will monitor production systems, triage incidents, and deliver configuration changes across regional sessions, ensuring stability and low latency in live trading environments.

You’ll own Level 1–2 response, contribute to runbooks and post‑incident reviews, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Client Services to onboard new clients and liquidity providers while keeping the

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in operations or production support within trading or FinTech.
• Working knowledge of the FIX protocol, ideally in FX or electronic trading environments.
• Understanding of trading infrastructure, networking, and low-latency connectivity.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools in live production environments.
• Linux fundamentals — our platform runs on Linux throughout.
• Comfortable with configuration-as-code — Git, structured config (YAML), and making changes that are reviewed, version‑controlled, and verified before they reach production.
• Scripting and automation (e.g. Bash, Python) — used daily to investigate, automate, and reduce toil; you don't need to be a software engineer, but you should be able to read and write working scripts.

• Production Monitoring & Incident Response: monitor live trading systems and own Level 1/2 triage.
• Configuration Delivery & Production Change: deliver production‑change pipeline and manage deployments.
• Client Onboarding & Connectivity: handle onboarding of clients and liquidity providers with post‑go‑live verification.
