Objective Partners seeks a Trading Systems Engineer to own live execution environments and critical market connections. You’ll split time between incident response and project work to improve reliability, performance, and automation across on‑prem systems.

You will join a team delivering rigorous operational excellence and direct impact on trading day-to-day uptime and platform quality.

Qualifications

• Background in SRE, systems integration, or production engineering in a heavily on-prem environment.
• Strong Linux, networking, and scripting skills with real-time problem solving.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time operational coverage for critical execution systems.
• Ensure trading operations continuity and resolve issues with urgency.
• Diagnose production incidents, coordinating across teams and exchanges.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement proactive mitigations.
• Build automation for system orchestration and efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis to eliminate recurring problems.
• Collaborate with trading and tech teams on architecture and deployment.
• Improve monitoring, observability, and resiliency.
• Support and optimize core market connectivity.
