Job summary

Aluminiosteverga is seeking a Shift Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in operating the shift, improving sales, profitability, guest service and people development. The role spans multiple levels with escalating responsibilities and requires ServSafe certification.

Shift Managers supervise team members, maintain inventory, manage cash, monitor labor and food costs, and ensure brand standards and quality on every shift. Excellent leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; must be at least 18; ServSafe Certification required.
• Strong verbal communication; ability to listen, understand perspectives and respond clearly.
• Basic math skills for counting change, totals, and analyzing labor/food costs.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on needs and goals.
• Capable of handling day-to-day challenges, adapting to multiple demands.
• Proven ability to manage teams effectively and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory by performing daily and weekly inspections.
• Manages cash control per policy; counts cash at shift changes and closing; reviews invoices.
• Tracks and records waste.
• Conducts table visits to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Motivates and directs team members to deliver fast, friendly service in clean surroundings.
• Fix bottlenecks, monitor speed of service, and ensure quality and standards on shift.
• Direct efficient preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within speed guidelines.
• Reviews restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvement.
• Ensures restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.
