Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years relevant experience, or Associate's degree with 6 years relevant experience, or High School diploma with 8 years DASNY relevant experience.
  • Experience using databases and generating reports from such databases.
  • Knowledge of contract compliance laws including Article 15-A of the Executive Law.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in PC applications: Outlook, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance of contractors, consultants, and vendors on DASNY-funded projects with MWBE/SDVOB and applicable laws.
  • Conduct audits and review contracts for compliance and deficiencies.
  • Prepare deficiency notices and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates on compliance status.
  • Educate vendors on DASNY policies and procedures to improve compliance.

Job description

The Opportunity Programs Analyst monitors and ensures compliance of contractors, consultants, and vendors working on DASNY-funded projects with Minority and Women-Owned Business (MWBE), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB), and applicable federal, state, and local laws. The role conducts audits, reviews contracts, prepares deficiency notices, attends project meetings, and educates vendors on DASNY policies and procedures. Based in the NYC office at 28 Liberty Street, this full-time position reports to the Opportunity Programs Group.

Key qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree plus three years relevant experience, or Associate's degree plus six years relevant experience, or High School diploma plus eight years DASNY relevant experience
  • Experience using databases and generating reports from such databases
  • Knowledge of Article 15-A of the Executive Law and other applicable contract compliance laws
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated analytical and conceptual abilities
  • Proficiency in PC applications such as Outlook, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
