Job summary

Civicworks in New York City seeks an Opportunities Programs Analyst to monitor contractor compliance on DASNY-funded projects, focusing on MWBE and SDVOB requirements. You will audit contracts, prepare deficiency notices, and educate vendors on policy adherence.

The role reports to the Opportunity Programs Group, with responsibilities spanning meetings, documentation, and enforcement of compliance standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years relevant experience, or Associate's degree with 6 years relevant experience, or High School diploma with 8 years DASNY relevant experience.
• Experience using databases and generating reports from such databases.
• Knowledge of contract compliance laws including Article 15-A of the Executive Law.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in PC applications: Outlook, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance of contractors, consultants, and vendors on DASNY-funded projects with MWBE/SDVOB and applicable laws.
• Conduct audits and review contracts for compliance and deficiencies.
• Prepare deficiency notices and coordinate corrective actions.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on compliance status.
• Educate vendors on DASNY policies and procedures to improve compliance.
