Job summary

Dormitory Authority of the State of New York seeks an Opportunity Programs Group Analyst to monitor and ensure contractors, professional service firms, consultants, and vendors comply with MWBE and SDVOB participation goals and applicable laws.

The analyst conducts audits, tracks participation, educates vendors, and supports procurement processes across project lifecycles, with travel and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus three years relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
• Associate’s degree plus six years relevant experience or high school diploma with DASNY experience.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of MWBE and SDVOB programs and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Monitor MWBE/SDVOB participation goals on contracts.
• Audit payments to MWBE/SDVOB subcontractors and confirm timing.
• Track participation achieved by contractors/consultants.
• Educate contractors on DASNY policies and state laws.
• Prepare and send deficiency notices for non-compliance.
• Assist with outreach to MWBE/SDVOB and small businesses.
• Attend project meetings and perform desk audits as needed.
