McLeod Centers for Wellbeing invites a Full-time Counselor to join the Opioid Treatment Program in Gastonia, NC. You will craft person-centered treatment plans and monitor patient progress throughout recovery.

Lead individual and group counseling, connect patients to essential supports, and engage in clinical supervision for ongoing professional development. Qualified candidates hold a master’s degree in counseling and are fully licensed or eligible (LCAS/LMFT/LCSW/LCMHC).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or a related field.
• Fully licensed or eligible for licensure (LCAS, LMFT, LCSW, LCMHC).

Responsibilities

• Craft person-centered treatment plans for patients in all stages of recovery.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress; adjust treatments as needed for optimal outcomes.
• Lead individual and group counseling sessions for patients and families.
• Connect patients with medical, mental health, and social support services.
• Participate in clinical supervision to foster professional growth.
