Job summary

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing invites a Full-time Counselor to join the Opioid Treatment Program in Gastonia, NC. You will craft person-centered treatment plans and monitor patient progress throughout recovery.

Lead individual and group counseling, connect patients to essential supports, and engage in clinical supervision for ongoing professional development. Qualified candidates hold a master’s degree in counseling and are fully licensed or eligible (LCAS/LMFT/LCSW/LCMHC).

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is seeking a Full-time Counselor to join our Opioid Treatment Program at our Gastonia, NClocation.

How will you help us achieve our mission? You will:

• Be at the forefront of crafting person-centered treatment plans for patients in all stages of recovery.
• Play a pivotal role in monitoring and evaluating client progress, adjusting treatments as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Lead individual and group counseling sessions to support both patients and their families.
• Connect patients with vital support services, such as medical evaluation, mental health, and social support. Your impact will extend beyond our doors!
• Participate in clinical supervision sessions to foster your professional growth and development.

What are the qualifications needed for this role?:

We're looking for master's degree-level, fully licensed or associate licensed Counselors (LCAS, LMFT, LCSW, LCMHC).
