BluePearl in Lafayette, CO is seeking an Ophthalmology Veterinary Technician to join our urgent care and specialty team. You will diagnose and treat ophthalmic conditions in companion animals, support surgeries, and educate clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic ophthalmic diagnostic tests and assist with detailed ocular exams.
• Perform advanced ophthalmic diagnostic testing as needed.
• Set-up and assist with procedures and surgeries that restore comfort and vision.
• Assist with outpatient procedures and various eyelid, corneal, and retinal surgeries.
• Place IV catheters and fluids for patients undergoing sedation or anesthesia; monitor anesthesia with trained staff.
