Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking an exceptional Ophthalmology Veterinary Technician to join our eye care team. This role supports diagnostics, procedures, and surgeries to restore vision and comfort in pets.

You will perform tests, assist with anesthesia, educate clients, and help maintain specialized ophthalmic equipment. We offer a supportive competency-based progression and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified veterinary technician with ophthalmology experience.
• Ability to perform basic and advanced ophthalmic diagnostics.
• Experience assisting anesthesia and ocular surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic ophthalmic diagnostic tests and assist with exams.
• Support advanced ophthalmic diagnostics and ocular procedures.
• Set up and assist with outpatient and surgical ophthalmic procedures.
• Place IV catheters and monitor anesthesia when needed.
• Educate clients on ocular diseases and care.
