Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in the United States seeks an experienced Ophthalmic Technician I to perform ophthalmic tests under supervision of the Clinical Supervisor. You will ensure accurate data collection during ophthalmology visits and support the physician with exams and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct and indirect patient care associated with physician office visit.
  • Assist provider in the examination and treatment of ophthalmology patients.
  • Conducts vision screening tests and records data; prepares procedure room.
  • Assist in ophthalmic tests and surgeries; prepares pre‑operative and post‑operative instructions.
