Ideal Eye Surgery LLC in Missouri is seeking a full-time Ophthalmology Surgical Technician & Team Manager to coordinate surgical schedules across multiple surgeons and facilities. This in-office role supports pre-operative planning, lens and equipment readiness, and ensures patient communication remains clear and timely.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in surgical scheduling or healthcare coordination.
• Proficient with Excel, Google Sheets, EHRs and scheduling software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience in ophthalmology scheduling is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain accurate surgical schedules for all surgeons and facilities.
• Communicate surgery dates, times, and pre-operative requirements to patients, surgeons, and surgical centers.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and facility partners to ensure all details are aligned for smooth surgical flow.
• Track and update any schedule changes, cancellations, and reschedules in real time.
• Communicate with patients, as needed, regarding surgery changes and updates.
• Ensure all scheduling activities adhere to established practice policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Deliver excellent service and communication to patients, providers, and staff, supporting an efficient and compassionate surgical experience.
• Assist in other areas across the surgical team as needed and requested by management to support facility needs, provider needs or team needs.
• Travel to other Ideal Eye Surgery locations as required, filling in as a counselor 2-4 times monthly
• Perform additional scheduling or administrative duties as assigned.
