Job summary

EyeSouth Partners is seeking a Surgery Coordinator for our Atlanta location. The role involves scheduling appointments, providing patient counseling, and maintaining documentation for surgical procedures. A strong background in ophthalmology and customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgery Coordinator, preferably in ophthalmology.
• Familiar with obtaining authorizations and referrals.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for scheduling patient appointments and providing pre/post operative counseling.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments.
• Coordinate communication between patients, physicians, and other staff.
