Job summary

The role requires at least five years of nursing experience in surgical facility operations, a CA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and strong leadership, budgeting, and staff development skills; you'll partner with the Senior Director of ACS Operations to drive performance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of nursing experience within surgical facility operations (multi-specialty or ophthalmology preferred).
• Current and valid California Registered Nursing (RN) license.
• Strong fiscal management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day center operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
• Monitor FTE utilization and recommend staffing strategies for cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare or delegate clinical staffing schedules considering vacations, holidays, and daily needs.
• Ensure cross-training of staff to promote productivity and coverage.
• Observe, evaluate, and support clinical personnel performance and quality of care.
• Lead orientation and onboarding for new clinical staff; coach and counsel staff on performance and progression.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and oversee credentialing for staff and providers.
• Support OSHA compliance, staff education, and equipment availability.
