The Surgery Center Administrator is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Del Mar, CA, responsible for overseeing daily operations of the surgery center. This role manages clinical and administrative processes, including scheduling, staffing, and coordination of surgical services to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality patient care. The Administrator collaborates closely with surgeons, physicians, and clinical teams, supports compliance with regulatory standards, and monitors quality and safety initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include supervising staff performance, managing budgets, optimizing patient flow, and addressing patient and provider concerns in a timely, professional manner. The role also involves implementing training programs, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and aligning the surgery center's operations with NVISION's strategic goals and patient experience standards.

Qualifications
  • You must be a licensed RN in the state of CA
  • 2+ years of management experience in an ASC setting
  • Clinical and medical knowledge: candidates should possess skills in Medicine and Surgery, with a strong understanding of ophthalmic procedures and clinical workflows.
  • Patient-focused care: candidates should possess skills in Patient Care, including ensuring patient safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the surgical experience.
  • Collaborative physician relationships: candidates should possess skills in Working with Physicians, fostering effective partnerships with surgeons and eye care providers.
  • Leadership and staff development: candidates should possess skills in Training, including onboarding, coaching, and supporting ongoing development of clinical and administrative staff.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience managing an ambulatory surgery center or similar healthcare facility, knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., CMS, AAAHC, Joint Commission), strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with electronic health records and practice management systems.
