Veterinary Eye Center of NYC is seeking a skilled Practice Manager to lead daily operations, financials, and patient care at our Hell’s Kitchen clinic. You’ll partner with the Medical Director to align clinical goals with operations and mentor a diverse team of technicians, assistants, and administrative staff.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, growth, and maintaining exceptional client service in a high-touch specialty practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a veterinary or medical hospital setting.
• Strong understanding of veterinary operations; specialty surgery or ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in hospital administration, business management, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with clinical leadership to drive hospital-wide goals.
• Passion for animal welfare and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Medical Director to align clinical goals with hospital operations and ensure high patient care standards.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across departments for smooth workflows.
• Implement policies and protocols to support patient care, safety, and team performance.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and support a diverse team of technicians, assistants, and admin staff.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations to promote retention.
• Manage daily financial close, cash handling, and expenses.
• Monitor KPIs and review monthly P&Ls with leadership.
• Support delivery of high-quality patient care and client services.
• Foster strategic growth planning and vendor/partner relationships.
