H.E.A.L. Veterinary Hospital in New York is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to serve as a strategic partner to the owner and COO while leading daily hospital operations.

You will mentor a veterinary team, drive culture, and elevate patient and client experiences in a growing hospital. The role focuses on developing people, improving operational performance, and delivering exceptional service across the entire practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of veterinary practice management experience.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of developing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency and patient experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• CVPM preferred; experience with Vetspire is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for day-to-day hospital operations.
• Partner with owner/COO to set priorities, drive growth, and achieve excellence.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, mentor, and retain a high-performing veterinary team.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop efficient systems to enhance patient care and client service.
• Lead performance management and ongoing training initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve hospital performance.
• Ensure an outstanding client experience and high standard of care.
