Job summary

Mackenzie Stuart is partnering with a growing multi-site ophthalmology entity to appoint a Practice Director. This full-time executive leadership role reports to the Physician Board and Managing Partners.

The Director will oversee Clinical Operations, Surgical Booking, Revenue Cycle, Finance, Clinical Trials, Human Resources and potential new divisions, driving efficiency and sustainable growth. The role focuses on financial operations, budget development, business strategy execution and people

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with the partners and align priorities across divisions.
• Set performance goals for each division and heads of division.
• Deliver performance reviews to staff at least once a year.
• Promote a fair, equitable workplace that supports growth and development.
• Oversee a marketing initiative and report feedback to adjust strategy.
• Ensure vendors are cost-effective with contracts and held accountable.
• Establish and oversee a process to address grievances from staff, patients, families and corporate.
• Ensure SOPs are created, maintained and accessible across the practice.
• Work with managing partners to address physician and partnership issues such as buy-in, buy-out, disability and family leave.
• Hiring or termination of direct reports or vendors must be approved by the managing partners.
