Straub Benioff Medical Center in Honolulu seeks a Patient Service Representative to ensure warm, friendly, and efficient service for patients. You will act as a liaison between patients and the Ophthalmology team and handle registration, updating records, and billing processing.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least one year of clerical healthcare experience, basic computer skills, and familiarity with EPIC is a plus; strong communication and cash handling abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year of clerical support in a health care setting or related experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills expected; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Interview, register, admit, update and create patients’ medical records.
• Process professional/technical fees generated by department providers.
• Perform cash handling and collection.
