Job summary
New York & New Jersey Eye Institute is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our ophthalmology team. The NP will provide comprehensive patient care, perform clinical assessments, assist physicians with ophthalmic procedures, and guide patients through the continuum of care.
Candidates must hold NJ NP license and a master's or doctoral nursing degree; ophthalmology experience is preferred. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and EMR proficiency are essential to deliver

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations.
- Evaluate ocular conditions and vision-related concerns.
- Assist physicians with ophthalmic procedures.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and post-procedure care.
- Document encounters accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance.
- Coordinate follow-up care and post-operative monitoring.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and staff to ensure efficient care.
