Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a clinical technician in an Ophthalmology setting.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred in a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid and insurance guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mediate patient and staff issues.

Responsibilities

• Manages the schedule of the clinical ophthalmic technician team.
• Coordinates coverage for callouts, punches, PTO, and timecards.
• Fosters a positive, team-focused environment and serves as a role model.
• Trains new hires on documentation and billing standards.
• Leads clinical team huddles and communicates with leadership.
