Ascend Vision Partners is seeking an ASC RN Manager – Ophthalmology Services in Orlando, FL. This full-time on-site role ensures safe, high-quality ophthalmic care at the ambulatory surgery center while aligning with regulatory standards.

You will oversee nursing staff, coordinate perioperative workflows, and support surgeons and clinical teams to deliver efficient, compassionate care. Leadership, infection prevention, and documentation are key elements of this role.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida; BSN preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in ophthalmology, perioperative nursing, or ambulatory surgery centers.
• Prior leadership or charge nurse experience with staff supervision and performance management.
• Knowledge of ASC regulations, accreditation standards, infection prevention, and patient safety.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced surgical environments.
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple clinical and administrative responsibilities.
• Comfort with electronic health records and basic computer applications used in clinical operations.
• Commitment to equitable, inclusive, and patient-centered care for diverse populations.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and specialty certifications (CNOR, CAPA) are highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations in the ambulatory surgery center.
• Coordinate nursing staff schedules and supervision across pre-, intra-, and post-operative workflows.
• Implement and monitor clinical protocols; lead quality improvement initiatives.
• Support infection prevention practices and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, administrators, and support staff to optimize patient flow and care quality.
