Grosinger, Spigelman & Grey P.C. in Bloomfield Hills, MI is seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join our busy eye care practice.

You will collect patient histories, document medications, measure visual acuity, perform diagnostic imaging such as fundus photography, assist providers, and act as a medical scribe. You’ll prepare exam rooms, educate patients, and help maintain equipment and supplies in a safe, organized clinic environment.

Formación

• Scribe with accurate and timely documentation of clinical encounters and medical records.
• Experience with ophthalmic imaging to assist with diagnostic evaluation.
• Foundational knowledge of medicine, including anatomy, eye diseases, treatments, and clinical terminology.
• Prior experience as an Ophthalmic or Optometric Technician or COA/COT certification preferred.
• Willingness to learn new electronic health record systems and follow clinical protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Perform patient intake including collecting medical histories and documenting medications.
• Measure visual acuity and assist with diagnostic testing and imaging.
• Support optometry and ophthalmology providers with clinical procedures and prepare examination rooms.
• Act as a scribe during examinations to accurately document findings and patient interactions.
