Qualifications
One to two years’ experience as an ophthalmic assistant preferred.
Certification as an ophthalmic assistant preferred.
Valid CPR certification required.
Responsibilities
Obtains and documents patient history including chief complaint and current medications.
Performs and documents visual acuity and ocular tests.
Provides compassionate patient care throughout clinic flow.
Maintains cleanliness in exam and procedure rooms.
Contacts patients to reschedule missed appointments.
