Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience as an ophthalmic assistant preferred.
• Certification as an ophthalmic assistant preferred.
• Valid CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and documents patient history including chief complaint and current medications.
• Performs and documents visual acuity and ocular tests.
• Provides compassionate patient care throughout clinic flow.
• Maintains cleanliness in exam and procedure rooms.
• Contacts patients to reschedule missed appointments.
