Job summary

Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc seeks a full-time Ophthalmic Technician Level 3/4 to support retina care in a fast-paced clinic. The role involves patient check-in, rooming, documentation in the EHR, and assisting physicians with procedures. Travel to other locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• All duties of Work Up Tech plus: Prepare patient and exam room for physician, set out drugs and equipment.
• Guide patient to room and ensure comfort; sanitize rooms and handle supplies.
• Verify patient charts, eligibility for procedures, and signed consent forms.
• Assist with billing and check-out; maintain clinic flow and supervise scribes and physicians.
• Complete surgery paperwork and ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance.
