Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc. is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician to support our retina care team.

You will work closely with physicians, patients, and staff, traveling to other clinic locations as needed while maintaining accurate records in the EHR system and ensuring efficient clinic flow. The role requires strong communication skills, ability to dilate, and a solid understanding of HIPAA/OSHA guidelines.

Aufgaben

• Obtain chart from office
• Call patient back by first and last name and verify DOB
• Greet patients and introduce self and role
• Complete a patient history
• Obtain quality OCT
• Enter chief complaint and all information in EHR
• Document patient visits accurately
• Maintain clinic flow and speed
• Schedule and reschedule patients as needed
• Understand emergencies vs non-emergencies
