Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our retina clinic team. You will work directly with physicians, patients, and staff, providing front-desk support in a fast-paced medical office.

Qualifications

• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
• Knowledge of insurance basics (HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medi-Cal).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
• Communicate clearly with physicians, staff, and patients.
• Schedule patients per guidelines and manage appointments.
• Answer phones in a courteous, professional manner.
• Verify insurance eligibility and authorizations as needed.
• Assist with patient check-in/check-out to enhance experience.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliant workstation.
