Job summary

Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc seeks a part-time Ophthalmic Technician to support physicians and staff in a fast-paced retina practice. You will gather patient histories, perform OCT imaging, document visits in the EHR, and help maintain clinic flow and patient scheduling.

The role requires travel to multiple locations as needed, strong communication, and the ability to work independently within HIPAA and OSHA guidelines. Prior ophthalmic exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate standard office equipment and EHR.

Responsibilities

• Obtain chart from office and verify patient data.
• Enter chief complaint and history into EHR accurately.
• Assist with OCT imaging and other ophthalmic testing.
• Maintain clinic flow and prepare rooms/equipment.
• Support front desk tasks and patient scheduling as needed.
