Rosin Eyecare, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to deliver high-quality eye care and patient experience. You will support doctors, perform pre-exam testing, and handle patient records with HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of strong customer service experience.
• Able to use ophthalmic exam equipment and related software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and eye exams, manage patient records and flow.
• Conduct preliminary evaluations: histories, medicaton lists, visual acuities, refractions, dilations.
• Perform advanced testing: OCTs, biometry, topography, retinal imaging.
• Explain tests and measurements to patients and answer questions.
• Handle patient records per HIPAA and maintain organized files.
• Operate scheduling tools and computer systems efficiently.
• Maintain safe work environment and proper infection control.
• Adapt to various exam scenarios and be personable with patients and staff.
