Skills: Ophthalmic Technician-Part Time Up To 19 Hours Per Week

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7:30a.m.-1:30 p.m.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Ophthalmologist in providing high-quality eye care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmic procedures and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Ophthalmologist in performing eye exams and diagnostic tests
  • Prepare patients for procedures and surgeries
  • Administer eye drops and medications as directed by the Ophthalmologist
  • Perform basic eye tests such as visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception
  • Record patient medical history and maintain accurate patient records
  • Clean and maintain ophthalmic equipment and instruments
  • Provide patient education on eye care and treatment options
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ophthalmology Technician
