Advocate Health is seeking an Ophthalmology Assistant for a 30-hour work week in Menomonee Falls, WI. You will prep exam rooms, assist physicians, and help with patient histories and basic tests.

The role includes a Saturday rotation a few times a year and requires strong attention to detail and solid communication. Candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to lift up to 25 lbs, and be comfortable working in a clinical environment with EMR systems and MS Office.

Qualificações

• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Organizes and prepares exam rooms and work areas, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
• Prepares patients for exams and assists physicians; records medical histories and chief complaints.
• Performs basic diagnostic tests and visual screenings (e.g., tonometry, acuity, color vision).
• Assists patients with ordering glasses or contacts and schedules follow-up appointments.
