Qualifications

• Certified Ophthalmic Technician credential or equivalent.
• FA (Fluorescein Angiography) skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary eye examinations and assessments including visual acuity, intraocular pressure, pupil reactions, and visual field testing.
• Administer specialized ophthalmic tests such as tonometry, keratometry, OCT, fundus photography, and pachymetry.
• Assist ophthalmologists during eye examinations, surgeries, and laser treatments, ensuring patient comfort and understanding of procedures.
• Educate patients on eye care procedures and post-operative instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
