Endeavor Health is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician in Glenview, IL to support ophthalmology services. The role involves assisting ophthalmologists, performing eye exams, and operating specialty tests in a state-of-the-art facility.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or vocational training in eye care, with Fried Cranial? Fluorescein Angiography experience a plus, and the ability to travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or vocational degree in eye care or related field.
• Certified Ophthalmic Technician status preferred.
• Flexibility to travel to other locations and meet operational needs.

Responsabilités

• Perform preliminary eye examinations and measurements.
• Administer ocular tests such as tonometry, OCT, and pachymetry.
• Assist ophthalmologists during examinations, surgeries, and laser treatments.
• Educate patients on eye care procedures and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with policies.
• Ensure ophthalmic equipment is calibrated and maintained.
