Job summary

Eye Health America is seeking an ophthalmic technician to support doctors in eye examinations and patient care. You will gather records, perform workups, take ocular measurements, and assist with procedures across multiple clinic locations as needed.

The role requires two years of experience and/or Ophthalmic Assistant Certification, with a notable sign-on bonus. Overtime and travel to clinics may be required, and the team emphasizes patient comfort and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work experience and/or Ophthalmic Assistant Certification preferred.
• Must have ophthalmic experience and be willing to travel to different clinic locations if needed.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the clinical manager, assist doctors in eye examinations.
• Gather medical records and patient information.
• Take ocular measurements, both anatomical and functional.
• Administer or prepare medications as needed.
• Provide eye care and contact lens information to patients.
• Maintain and clean ophthalmic instruments.
• Assist doctors in basic procedures.
